Lincoln Financial Group Names Heidi Dross Vice President, New Business for Administrative Risk Services, Insurance Solutions/Group Protection Division

PHILADELPHIA, November 10, 2009 — The Insurance Solutions/Group Protection division of Lincoln National Corporation (NYSE:LNC) today announced the promotion of Heidi Dross to Vice President, New Business for Administrative Risk Services. In her new role, Dross will head the New Business organization, including Lincoln's I-TeamSM as well as the Contracts and Benefits Summaries teams.

"Heidi is passionate about providing the best service possible. With her strong leadership and marketing skills, she has played a key role in helping to write new national account business," said Susan Harpster, Vice President, Administrative Risk Services.

Dross has been with the company for thirteen years. She started in the Individual Life Division in 1996 and transitioned to the Group Protection business in 2000. Once in Group Protection, Dross spent several years in the Client Management operation, helping to build the service model. Over the past few years, she led the effort to re-engineer the new business implementation process and build the I-TeamSM.
