Lincoln Financial Group Adds Strategic Hires to its Defined Contribution Product Team

Philadelphia, September 14, 2010 — Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) today announced the addition of two new strategic hires to its Defined Contribution Product team. Kristin Curtin has joined as Director of Large Market Pricing and Ray Radikas has joined as Large Market Product Manager. Both new positions, reporting to Eric Levy, Vice President and Head of Defined Contribution Products, have been added to help the Defined Contribution business expand its presence and approach to the mid and large defined contribution market. Additionally, a search for a new Large Market Business Leader is currently underway.

"Building on Lincoln's 50 year history in the DC business, which currently serves more than 24,000 plan sponsors with 1.3M participants in the corporate, healthcare, education and non-profit segments, we see the mid and large defined contribution market as a significant opportunity for us to grow our asset base," Levy said. "With the addition of these two critical roles, we are well-positioned to enhance and develop innovative and market focused products and services that help our clients and their participants in the mid and large market meet their retirement savings and income needs."

Curtin comes to Lincoln with more than 16 years experience in the retirement plan industry. Prior to joining Lincoln, Curtin was Director of Pricing at Mercer's Outsourcing business where she led a team responsible for managing all facets of pricing in sales pursuits for Mercer's benefit administration. During her tenure, she managed pricing of opportunities across four business lines and achieved continuous advancements around pricing. Prior to Mercer, Curtin held positions with Putnam and Fidelity Investments.

Radikas comes to Lincoln with more than 17 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his role at Lincoln Financial, Radikas was Product and Project Manager at The Hartford where he was responsible for providing unique solutions for key sponsors resulting in significant retained assets. Prior to The Hartford, he held positions with ING and AETNA.
