Lincoln Financial Group Wins 2010 Human Resources Department of the Year Award

PHILADELPHIA, November 23, 2010 — Lincoln Financial Group was awarded top honors in the large company category of the 13th Annual Human Resources Department of the Year Awards, sponsored at the premier level by the Rosen Group and the Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Society. Winners were announced at a dinner ceremony on November 18, 2010 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia.

The Human Resources Department of the Year Award recognizes Delaware Valley HR teams in five size categories that have demonstrated service excellence and measurable success for their organizations.

"It is a tremendous honor for the Lincoln Financial human resources team to be selected from among our peers for this award," said Lisa Buckingham, Lincoln Financial's Chief Human Resources Officer. The Lincoln HR department was selected for top honors based on its success in rising to the challenges posed by the recent market crisis, staying focused on driving business results while simultaneously creating programs and structures to help Lincoln more skillfully navigate external challenges and position the company to seize opportunities as the economy recovered.
