Richard Aneser Named Chief Marketing Officer of Lincoln Financial Distributors
PHILADELPHIA, February 21, 2012 — Lincoln Financial Distributors (LFD), the wholesale distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC), today announced that Richard Aneser has joined the organization as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. In this newly-created position, Aneser will play a critical role in driving business results through strategic marketing for Lincoln's diversified portfolio of insurance and retirement products offered through financial advisors, institutions, insurance brokerages and consultants in the United States. He will report directly to LFD's President and CEO Will Fuller.

Aneser has 20 plus years of experience creating innovative campaigns for the wealth management and retirement markets. He joins Lincoln from UBS, where he served as Head of Advisory and Solutions Marketing for UBS Wealth Management and where he helped transform the marketing organization by focusing on tailored campaigns to drive growth at the individual advisor level. Prior to UBS, Aneser held senior marketing positions with Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for integrating brand, client and field marketing and ultimately helped to launch the Total Merrill platform; and, with Fidelity Investments, where he worked closely with Peter Lynch to develop integrated campaigns aimed at helping consumers make better investment decisions. Earlier in his career, he served at Hill, Holliday Advertising, Seigel & Gale, Wells Rich Greene BDDP and AC&R Advertising.
Aneser is currently Co-Chair of the Communications Committee for the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation; a board member for the Hailey Mae Foundation, and a recipient of the DuPont Scholarship (1985 to 1986). He earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy from St. Michael's College in Vermont, and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.
