On November 22, 2013, A.M. Best affirmed the financial strength, commercial paper and senior debt ratings of Lincoln National Corporation shown in the preceding tables Additionally A.M. Best affirmed the financial strength, commercial paper and senior debt ratings for LNL and LLANY shown in the preceding tables. A.M. Best also has affirmed the FSR of A (Excellent) and ICR of "a+" of Lincoln's stand-alone subsidiary, First Penn-Pacific Life Insurance Company. The outlook for all ratings is stable.

Standard & Poor's
On May 22, 2013 Standard and Poor's affirmed the financial strength, commercial paper and senior debt ratings for LNL, LLANY and FPP shown in the proceeding tables. Standard and Poor's outlook on all the ratings is stable.

Moody's
On June 27, 2013, Moody's Investor Services has upgraded Lincoln National Corporation credit rating to Baa1 and the financial strength of all Lincoln National Corporations subsidiaries to A1. Moody's outlook on all of the ratings is stable.

Fitch
On May 20, 2013,. Fitch affirmed Lincoln National Corporation's IDR to A- and the financial strength of all LNC's subsidiary's to A+. Fitch's outlook on all of the ratings remains stable.
