Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity offers a number of features to help you meet your future income needs. The following are some key facts and features about the product:
|Type of Product||Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity is a deferred income annuity.|
|Minimum Premium Payment Amount||The minimum premium payment amount is $10,000. Once the contract is issued, you can make additional premium payments (of at least $100) to increase the future income amount. This feature is available in the majority of states.|
|Age Requirements||In order to purchase this product, you must be between certain age ranges, depending on the type of contract you purchase:
|Starting Income||When you purchase your Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity contract, you must decide when you would like to begin income. You can wait a few years or wait until some point further in the future to start receiving payments, depending on your reasons for purchasing the annuity.|
|Flexibility||Should your needs change, and you haven't yet started taking income; you may have one opportunity to change the beginning date. This feature is available with several payout options.
Once you begin receiving income, there is additional built-in flexibility if you are receiving monthly payments: you can request a lump sum payment consisting of the current payment and the next five consecutive monthly payments — after which your regular monthly payments will resume. This feature is not available with IRAs.
|Planning Tool for Required Minimum Distributions||Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity is available as a Qualifying Longevity Annuity Contract (QLAC). A Lincoln QLAC gives clients more flexibility when planning for future income needs associated with IRA required distributions.|
|Death Benefit||If you are concerned about protecting your heirs, several payout options provide a return of premium death benefit during the deferral phase of Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity.|

Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity deferred annuity (contract form 13-618F and 13-618S, or state variation) is issued by The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Fort Wayne, IN. Lincoln Deferred Income SolutionsSM Annuity is available as a Qualifying Longevity Annuity Contract (QLAC), as defined under Q&A-17 of section 1.401(a)(9)-6 of the Income Tax Regulation, limits premiums to the lesser of $125,000 or 25% of all IRA account balances. These limits apply at the time of a contribution to the QLAC, and the IRA account balances are determined based on the balances of all IRA accounts on December 31 of the year before the year of the contribution.
