Students work diligently on their projects.

Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana has been preparing youth to become productive members of society and to succeed in the global economy since 1952.

Empowering students for future success

Junior Achievement empowers students to own their future economic success by enhancing the relevance of their education, while helping them realize the opportunities and realities of work in the 21st century global economy.

During the 2016-2017 school year, across a 30-county service area, Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana served more than 135,000 students, from pre-kindergarten through high school. Junior Achievement programs—in the core content areas of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness—give students the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures and make smart academic and economic choices. Middle and high schoolers get to visit Lincoln Financial Finance Park where they roleplay making intelligent financial decisions in a randomly-assigned personal scenario. The simulation helps students grasp the implications of their choices as they work toward a balanced budget.

Students recite the Pledge of Allegiance in front of the American Flag.
