When Lincoln Financial adopted President Abraham Lincoln's name in 1905, we also embraced his ideals. And in 2013, we launched Lincoln's Legacy initiative to recognize the 150th anniversaries of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment and inspire others.

Legacy events
In 2015, the Greensboro Historical Museum in Greensboro, N.C., held a special exhibit titled Emancipation Proclamation with support from Lincoln’s Legacy. Read more about the event.
