Promoting the needs of diverse communities

An important component of our Diversity & Inclusion strategy is Lincoln’s Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and Multicultural Awareness Committees (MACs).

Members of these groups devote their time as champions of Diversity & Inclusion internally and externally. Group and Committee leaders are connected directly to the enterprise Diversity & Inclusion team, as well as business leaders for guidance in executing upon deliverables.

Lincoln Business Resource Groups

Lincoln Financial has seven Business Resource Groups (BRGs) designed to support Lincoln’s business and diversity objectives by identifying opportunities to enhance our brand and market and presence, workplace engagement and community reputation. Each BRG is focused on delivering events and programs geared toward supporting members of their respective communities. These groups are employee-led, representing a cross section of businesses and/or functions throughout the organization, helping embed diversity and inclusion in the company’s culture from the ground up. BRGs include:

  • LGBTQ
  • People with Disabilities
  • Veterans
  • Women

Lincoln Multicultural Awareness Committees

The Multicultural Awareness Committees (MACs) are committed to educating Lincoln employees about diverse cultures and promote cultural awareness to foster an inclusive workplace environment. By leveraging creative ideas and dynamic events, they provide informative programming about diverse cultures, backgrounds, viewpoints and lifestyles on a regular basis in each Lincoln location.
